Key Features & Advantages
-
Portability & Convenience: With a compact 2-step folding design and reinforced locks, the bike can be stowed in tight spaces—office, car boot, apartment balcony.
-
Lightweight but strong: At ~10 kg, the bike remains easy to carry while the aluminium frame is built to resist surface rust and requires low maintenance.
-
Reliable shifting: The Sensah 10-speed system allows smooth gear changes across urban terrain and mild inclines.
-
Adjustable fit: The adjustable seatpost and handlebar allow customization for different rider heights, making it suitable for a wide range of users.
-
Safety design: Reinforced folding lock mechanisms prevent accidental opening during ride, offering security and peace of mind.
-
Practical for daily use: Ideal for city streets, park paths, short errands or last-mile connectivity.
Usage Instructions & Setup
-
Unpack & inspect: On first receipt, examine frame, wheels, cockpit, fold locks and components for shipping damage.
-
Install pedals: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals—note that left pedal threads in reverse (anti-clockwise) while right pedal tightens clockwise.
-
Adjust seat & handlebar: Set the seatpost and handlebar height to your comfort. Ensure the post is not raised beyond its maximum mark.
-
Unlock folding locks: Before riding, check that both the frame hinge lock and handlebar hinge lock are fully engaged and secure.
-
Test gear shifts: Ride slowly and shift through all 10 gears to ensure smooth indexing and no chain skip.
-
Brake check: Confirm brakes engage firmly and evenly on both front and rear wheels; adjust pad alignment if needed.
-
Folding / unfolding: Practice folding and unfolding in a safe area. First unlock handlebar latch, then frame hinge; reverse order when setting up.
-
Routine checks: Before each ride, inspect folding latches, bolts, and tyres. Tighten loose bolts, check for any play in joints.
-
Cleaning & lubrication: Use mild soap and water to clean frame and components. Avoid high-pressure sprays near bearings or folding joints. Lubricate chain and derailleur pivots periodically (e.g. every 200-300 km).
-
Storage: When stored folded, keep indoors or sheltered from direct sunlight and heavy rain. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the folded bike.
Precautions & Safety Notes
-
Always ensure the folding locks are fully secured before riding. A partially locked hinge can lead to sudden failure.
-
Do not exceed the rider load limit (~80 kg). Overloading may stress joints, folds or frame integrity.
-
Avoid sharp impacts or collisions—despite its durability, repeated strikes may damage folding joints or frame.
-
Periodically inspect for cracks, dents or fatigue at hinge areas, welds or the main frame—stop use if any damage is found.
-
Do not overtighten bolts beyond recommended torque—especially around folding latches—to prevent thread damage or deformation.
-
Use compatible tyres, tubes and components. Mismatches in sizes or specs can impair safety or performance.
-
If the bike is involved in a crash or serious impact, even if cosmetically fine, consider inspecting hinge mechanisms and replacing damaged parts.
-
Keep moving parts like hinges, locks and pivots free of debris (sand, grit) to avoid wear and unintended jamming.
