Usage Instructions
Fitting the Helmet
-
Measure your head circumference about 1 cm above the eyebrows and around the largest part of the skull.
-
Put the helmet level on your head — it should sit flat, not tilted back or forward.
-
Adjust the internal retention (if equipped with a dial or adjustable band) until the fit is snug but comfortable.
-
Adjust the side straps so they form a “V” just under each ear.
-
Fasten the chin strap and leave space for about 1–2 fingers between strap and chin.
Visor Usage
-
To attach the visor, align it into the mounting slots and press until securely locked.
-
To remove, gently pull it outwards or press release tabs (if provided) without forcing.
-
Use the visor in bright sun or light rain; remove if obstructing vision in other conditions.
Maintenance & Care
-
After use, clean the helmet shell and inner pads with a soft cloth and mild soap.
-
Remove and wash the pads periodically; allow to air dry (do not use heat or direct sunlight).
-
Check straps, buckles and retention systems regularly — tighten or replace if wear is detected.
-
Avoid dropping or subjecting the helmet to harsh impacts when not worn — EPS foam may crack or degrade.
Precautions & Safety Notes
-
This helmet is designed for single-impact use. After any significant crash or fall, replace the helmet even if no visible damage is present.
-
Always ensure all adjustment mechanisms, straps, and retention systems are correctly secured before every ride.
-
Do not modify or remove structural components (shell, straps, padding) — doing so can compromise safety.
-
Avoid storing the helmet in extremely hot or humid environments (e.g. inside a closed car under the sun) to prevent material degradation.
-
If you notice cracks, dents, loose shells or degraded foam, discontinue use and replace the helmet.
-
Use the helmet in conjunction with other safety gear (e.g. lights, reflective clothing) especially when riding in traffic or low-light conditions.
-
Ensure correct sizing; an ill-fitting helmet may fail to protect properly.
