Usage Instructions
Assembly & Setup
-
Upon delivery, inspect and tighten all bolts: handlebar stem, wheel axles, pedals, saddle.
-
Align handlebar straight with front wheel.
-
Adjust saddle height so that the rider’s feet can touch the ground slightly when seated; knees should have a small bend when pedaling.
Training Wheels
-
Use training wheels initially for stability in early rides.
-
Once the child gains confidence, gradually raise or remove the training wheels to challenge balance.
Riding & Control
-
Encourage gentle pedaling and smooth starts.
-
Teach braking early — use bell to alert, and apply gentle pressure on front (if fitted) before combining both.
-
Ride on flat, safe surfaces first (quiet paths, empty parks) before progressing to mild slopes.
Care & Maintenance
-
Wipe bike clean after rides, especially if dusty or wet.
-
Regularly check tightness of bolts, pedal threads, wheel bearings.
-
Inflate tyres to manufacturer-recommended pressure.
-
Inspect and service brake components, chains or pads (if any) periodically.
Precautions & Safety Notes
-
Always make sure all fasteners are fully tightened before riding — loose components can lead to accidents.
-
The child should wear a properly fitted helmet at all times. Knee and elbow pads are recommended during learning.
-
Do not ride the bike on steep slopes, in heavy traffic, or over rocky terrain until the child is confident.
-
If the bike is dropped or crashes, inspect frame, wheels and joints for damage before further use.
-
Avoid modifying structural parts (frame, fork, handlebars), as this can void safety.
-
Do not exceed the safe weight capacity (child + any light cargo).
-
Store the bike indoors or under shade to prevent UV damage, corrosion or fading of finishes.
