The Geometric Plastic Floor Pump (120 psi) is a reliable and user-friendly pump for home use, workshop or on-stand support. With its robust plastic barrel, stable base, and dual-valve compatibility, it offers a convenient solution for inflating tyres for road, mountain or hybrid bikes around Malaysia. The 120 psi rating ensures sufficient pressure for typical bicycle tyre ranges.

Specifications & Dimensions

  • Maximum Pressure: 120 psi (approx. 8.3 bar)

  • Valve Compatibility: Suitable for both Presta (French) and Schrader (car / MTB) valves

  • Construction / Material: Plastic / polymer barrel, stable base and handle, with flexible hose and clip

  • Base & Handle: Wide base plate for stability and a large grip handle for ease of use

  • Hose & Storage: Hose with clip for tidy storage when not in use

  • Weight: 1.0 kg

Key Features & Benefits

  • Dual-valve compatibility (Presta & Schrader) allows you to use with a wide range of bicycle tyres without needing to swap heads.

  • Wide stable base helps maintain balance during pumping.

  • Large, comfortable handle offers better leverage and control.

  • A hose clip ensures the hose is neatly stored along the barrel when not in use.

  • 120 psi capacity covers most standard and road tyre inflation needs.

Usage Instructions

Pre-check & Setup

  1. Ensure the pump is placed on a flat, stable surface.

  2. Extend or position the base feet (if any) so the pump stands firmly.

  3. Check that the hose is free of kinks or blockages.

Connecting to Tyre

  1. Identify your valve type (Presta or Schrader).

  2. Push the pump head onto the valve. If the head has a lever lock, flip or press to secure it.

  3. For Presta valves, you may need to unscrew the small top nut before connecting.

Pumping

  • Begin with full strokes of the handle to push air into the tyre.

  • Monitor tyre pressure as you pump (use a pressure gauge or feel resistance).

  • As pressure increases, pumping will require more effort and shorter strokes may be more efficient.

  • Stop when you reach the desired pressure (check tyre sidewall recommended PSI or bar).

Disconnection

  • Release the pump head locking mechanism if present.

  • Gently pull the pump head off the valve to avoid damaging the valve stem.

  • Cap or close the valve if the tyre valve has a cap.

Precautions & Safety Notes

  • Do not exceed the tyre’s recommended pressure (printed on tyre sidewall). Overinflation can lead to blowouts.

  • Ensure the pump head is firmly locked before applying pressure — a slipping connection may damage the valve.

  • Avoid sudden, high-force pumping motions that may stress the pump or valve.

  • Inspect the hose and connections for cracks or wear periodically — replace if damaged.

  • Do not use the pump for inflating objects beyond its design (e.g. high-pressure industrial devices).

  • Store pump in dry, shaded area; avoid prolonged exposure to UV, which can degrade plastic components.

  • Keep children supervised around the pump to avoid mishandling or injury from moving parts.
